Talking about #relationships this month, i’m now talking about one of the most #important and #neglected relationships of our lives. It our relationship, #responsibility & #duty towards our #country. Our patriotic spirit is at its peak on #republicday or #indipendenceday but what about the other days? What about our kids? Are we really connecting then to our nation when we want them to settle in a developed in west? Shouldn’t our focus be towards developing our own country? How many of us want our kids to join the @indianarmy.adgpi or @indianairforce or maybe @indiannavy ? Let’s admit it, a very few of us wants that. Serving our country at the #borderfront isn’t just a duty of a few people. Being a #blogger is easy (at least for me) but being an #instagram with a kid is so so so difficult. Any project or click takes 10 times more the time it should. Just giving you a little glimpse. #mothersday #fathersday #friendshipsday #valantinesday ;we all remember these at our finger tips but how many of you are aware that today is #nationalgirlchildday ? I’m sure there are just a handful out there. My post today is not about how happy am I to have a girl child but it is about the reality of a #girlchild in our country and many others like ours. One of my friend’s sister have recently adopted a #girlchild . She’s a single mother and it was after a wait of 6 years that she finally met the love of her life; a true blessing of God,; her daughter. Having a chat with her a few days back, I realized that the number of girl child in an adoption center or an orphanage home is way-way more than the number of #boychild . Either the centers are filled with children of special needs or girls. It is the sad reality of our society today. Despite being in the year #2020 , boys are still preferred over girls. And trust me, this is not just a case in the rural areas, but also the metropolitan cities like #delhi and #mumbai . A decade of changing designations, changing relationship status, changing personalities and changing life; the last decade brought with it so many changes in our lives. Like all of us. A few changed their country and some came back home; and for me the game changed so much. From a credit rating officer to a wife, then a mom, a business women and a blogger. The last decade was a fun-on game changer but indeed a wonderful one. While I look back to all that changed in the last decade, one thing that can not go unnoticed is the change in the meaning of love. Time for the next #tuesdaytrendingpost . . DOES EXPRESSING YOURSELF MATTER? . How often do you think that expression of love only matters in a love relationship? Well yes, it does but also does matter in other relationships you possess. We often, with time, start expressing ourselves a little less, for we somehow know that the one on the other hand can feel. . . Our life brings with it tons of problems, complications and hurdles and these passes away easily if you have a hand to grab you strong. It sometimes feel good to be special, to be of an importance to the other. And if you feel so, it’s equally important for you to make your special ones feel that same. Telling what you feel will not make you cheesy or filmy; it’ll make the other one feel a little better coz you never know what the other person might be going through. . We mostly express our gratitude, love and affection to our parents or partner, least do we ever think that this could be of equal significance in other relationships as well. So when was the last time you told a friend his/her importance? When was the last time you told your colleagues about the power they give you? When did you ever tell your sibling that those fights with them are so missed by you? There are so many relationships beyond the ones we actually notice and they all need some nourishment of love, affection and expressions. . . Think about it. . . Until next time... . .
