While we talk a lot about our Indian culture, handicrafts and craftsmanship, there is no one, be it be a home maker, office goer, student and everyone in between, who could resist its charm. India is also called a shopper’s paradise for its diverse, colorful and irresistible textile & craft. While I totally adore the collection, it becomes difficult at times to shop for it while being with your family. With an impatient husband and kids by your side, shopping becomes a difficult game for us. A solution to this was found at the Fabindia Experience center that I visited a few days back. This was my first visit to the Fabindia experience center at Lajpat Nagar, Delhi where a master class, with blogger and fashion influencer Anusha Bangia, was organized for us.
Spread across two floors, covering an area of 11,397 sq. ft., the center is designed to cater to every age group and their distinct needs. In addition to its signature offering, the Fabindia Experience Center houses a fabulous Fab Café, an Interior Design Studio, offers accessories, home and lifestyle products, personal care and organic foods.
To give a glimpse of the place and some style tips, a master class was organized by Momspresso in association with Fabindia on 7th of June 2019 at this center. The master class not just brushed us with the latest trends and some style tips but also let us explore their latest collection and play around with the art of mix and match.
The idea of bringing something for each member of the family under one roof was incredible. I was accompanied by my husband and my daughter for the meet, where they enjoyed the delicacies offered by Fab Café while I attended the meet and shopped a little. The whole idea of this experience center is a one stop solution of the needs of the entire family. While the Fab Café focuses on bringing a nutritious and contemporary menu highlighting lndia’s diverse cuisines with an array of dishes that represent various regional cuisines made with seasonal ingredients.

The Fabindia Experience Center also offers an Interior Design Studio, a one-stop design solution to help create memorable spaces. The IDS provides a range of services such as consultancy on layouts, mapping spaces, product customization and color scheme coordination.
From women’s wear to kids wear, from jewelry to mojjris, from home decor to organic food, from natural supplements to organic pulses, you name it and they have it.
It was indeed amazing to explore and shop at Fabindia experience center. The place has so much more to offer than what you can imagine. Also this meet organized by them was such a great initiative by Fabindia to interact, connect and guide their customers. This place is an absolute must visit if you are looking for variety, traditional, contemporary and elegant stuff for your family and home. Meeting the Fabindia team there I came to know that with 302 stores across 105 cities in India and 14 international stores, Fabindia Overseas Private Limited is India’s largest retail platform for a wide range of products produced by artisans living largely in rural areas. Visiting the store made me so proud of the fact that there is a brand that makes the works of our artisans reach all the corners of the world. A reflection of Indian culture is a reflection of us and this is what Fabindia aims at.
