Listen Here

Even if the industry insiders has gone a little tired of the fashion week trend, New York Fashion Week Fall 2020 had a lot to impress and inspire us. From fashion bridals to peppy gowns, from little glitz to elegant portraits, the NYFW Fall 2020 had a lot in store for us. While many designers showcased their collections, here are my favorite picks from the fashion week.

Tory Burch’s Collection

Amongst the collection of various other designers, the one that caught my eyes and heart was the collection of designer Tory Burch. Her collection was wear to work dresses and suits with a soft and elegant use of fun and colorful fabrics. With the use of soft fabrics and fluid cuts, the collection came out to be so powerful and mesmerizing. Her line had a perfect blend of pastel knitwear with a feminine bow, Ladylike floral suit, pleated skirts and a magical blend of pattern on pattern.

Jason Wu Collection

Wu is a designer who kinda has a magic wand when it comes to special occasion wear. His collection is not just elegant but also so wearable. Jason’s Fall 202 collection was a blend of both bold and soft prints. Quilting, prints and feathered frocks, the collection won’t disappoint you while picking up something for your special day.

Prabal Gurung Collection

“Its electric misfits and impossible dreamers” is how designer Pragal Guruang address his collection. His opening garment aka the white tux with black stripes reminded of the 70’s look that is all set to find its roots in 2020. Talking about the Tux, the green tux with which overcoat wasn’t a piece to be missed. A use of texture, animal prints, floral and checks; the collection was a wholesome of goodness. But 2 of my favorite garments from the line was the blue flowy gown and the white gown with the stunning

Michael Kors Collection

Talking fashion and not talking about Michael Kors would be insane. MK’s collection at the NYFW falls 2020 was all about being comfortable yet chic. And the comfort was to an extent that there wasn’t a single heel on the ramp during his show. He made a great use of leather, knitwear, pleated skirts and statement coats. The collection was cozy yet stylish and hence was my personal favorite (I have my many favorites here).

Marc Jacobs Collection

Classy red lips, those bold lined eyes and those stunning head gears, Jacob’s collection reminded us of the beautiful and timeless style that still has its roots strong in 2020. Some shimmer, some fur, those classy hand gloves and bold waist bets, Marc has been successful in capping off the New York Fashion Week with a bang.
